The Company

Weekenders is a direct sales business with over 25,000 representatives selling fashions in home sales meetings.

The Challenge

Weekenders wanted an affordable solution to selling new products online. The solution needed to have enough power and function to grow as their business did, but still be manageable for a small organization without IT personnel.

The Solution

Caro designed and implemented a robust consumer interface for the new e-commerce channel enabling Weekenders to move quickly towards launching their cosmetics, health supplements and niche fashion line. The system supported adding content and controlling the look and feel of the site. Orders were successfully placed and processed at 12:01 a.m. the first day of launch, and the site has exceeded company expectations since then. The solution needed to have enough power and function to grow as their business did, but still be manageable for a small organization.

"Launching a new product line through a new channel is challenging and getting it up and running quickly was a huge consideration for us,” said Philip Chang, Chief Technology Officer of Weekenders. “I really don’t think we could have had it functioning in time without Caro."
