Caro assist Enbridge with major application upgrade.

An Enbridge team with several Caro consultants successfully implemented a major application upgrade.

TORONTO, Ontario, February 1, 2012 – Enbridge Gas Distribution of Toronto, Ontario has successfully completed a major upgrade to it's EnTRAC application for the management of broker contracts, management of gas supply within it's distribution system, and associated accounting.

The EnTRAC application has been in production for several years and required a major upgrade to be able to handle more timely calcualtions and management of Broker contracted volumes, due to seasonal account composition changes. The upgrade demanded complex changes to the underlying database structure and changes to major portions of exsting code as well as a significant amount of new code. Overall the project took close to two years to complete.

Caro consultants were employed in several roles, firstly for proper requirements defintion, then also for test management, test definition and testing, and further to assit the development team in automating their build and control process and assist with problem resolution and coding.

Caro's skills in large scale development projects, automated build processes and particulrly in automation of the development test assets and testing, significantly helped the Enbridge team to a very successful conclusion to the project.
