Seniors can now Benefit from a Robust Monitoring System

TORONTO, Ontario, February 16, 2006 – Human Activity Profiling Inc. (HAP) has successfully completed the second stage of testing Jeeves – Home Companion, a personal security monitoring system for seniors. Jeeves assists the safety of seniors who live in their own homes and helps the senior receive appropriate emergency care when required from a healthcare professional.

There are two main parts to the Jeeves – Home Companion system; a computer hub located in the seniors home to collect patterns of daily living (PDL) and a second system located in the central offices of the service provider (SP) to evaluate the PDL and analyze irregular results received by the SP. The two systems communicate using the Internet. Jeeves – Home Companion is expected to facilitate significant new efficiency levels allowing one professional caregiver to look after 500 or more seniors every day.

Following the initial successful in house trial, Human Activity Profiling (HAP) is pleased to announce its trial release of Jeeves – Home Companion with three professional healthcare organizations. This trial will encompass a number of seniors from various locations across Ontario and is expected to prove system viability in a real-time environment. The first phase of trials with healthcare clients began in mid-December, 2005.
